Born and raised in Goldsboro, NC, Alan’s journey in construction began early on, working in commercial construction during his high school summers. His passion for the industry led him to pursue opportunities in drafting, starting with an internship at The Wooten Company.
In 2005, Alan transitioned to a role as a drafter/designer with a residential design firm in Raleigh, where he further honed his skills in architectural drafting.
Alan’s tenure with AB Goodrich Contracting began in 2012. He initially assisted with drafting design-build fit-ups. Over time, he embraced various responsibilities, wearing multiple hats within the company until finding his calling in estimating.
Outside of work, Alan enjoys a fulfilling family life and is happily married with a child. He is an enthusiastic soccer fan, with Liverpool as his favorite team, and often spends his leisure time playing golf.
