Remco joined AB Goodrich Contracting as a superintendent in December 2022. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Remco made the bold decision to relocate to North Carolina in pursuit of new opportunities in the construction industry.
Remco’s journey in construction began right after high school, where he started as a laborer and quickly rose through the ranks to become a skilled tradesman in the drywall field. His passion for the industry led him to transition into residential home construction, where he gained invaluable experience working across various roles, from the service department to field superintendent, for various home builders. Eventually, Remco’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Remco Drywall Service, LLC, a testament to his dedication and expertise.
Outside of work, Remco finds joy and fulfillment in his family life. Married to his wife Rebecca for 43 years, they are proud parents of three children and eight grandchildren. In his leisure time, Remco enjoys cheering for Buckeye football and basketball teams, indulging his passion for sports. He also finds relaxation in riding his Harley, boating, and creating cherished memories with his loved ones.
A man of faith and community, Remco is actively involved in his church, serving on the leadership and worship teams. Excited to embark on a new chapter with AB Goodrich, Remco looks forward to expanding his knowledge and expertise in the commercial construction industry. He is eager to contribute his skills and enthusiasm to the team’s success.
